Join local printmaker, Linda Abblitt, on a voyage of discovery into the world of relief printmaking. You learnt to do potato prints in Grade 3, but now it’s time to move on to something a little more advanced.

Relief printing is a process by which you create a raised surface that is then inked and pressed onto paper.

It doesn’t matter if you’re experienced in printmaking, or coming to it as a complete beginner, there will be something in this workshop for everyone.

You will explore a variety of different surfaces such as lino, soft cut, ply, MDF and other types of wood – as well the use of colour in printing. It’s all about learning new techniques in a fun, relaxed environment with no pressure to achieve any particular results.
